Workshops and Classes…currently thinking about 2025! Program coming soon.

I’ll be bringing you opportunities to get creative with fabric, paper, collage, paint etc. Imagine fun, relaxing sessions with like-minded groovy people.

My popular Tuesday night dressmaking classes will recommence in February, with limited places. These are booked and paid by the school term (9 or 10 weeks) with the occassional casual spot available. Details and bookings are in my shop, but do get in touch if you have any questions.

I also run a 9am - 12.30ish Saturday morning workshop (set project) followed by an 1pm - 4pm afternoon dressmaking class…one Saturday per month at Arteyrea (Mortlock Terrace, Port Lincoln SA)

Am curently working on the program for 2025 (please check back in January) Listed below are the workshops run in 2024.

Wide Leg Pants. Comfortable, elastic waist pants with pockets (of course!)

Wrap Skirt. Adjustable wrap over skirt with button closure. Great opportunity to use a special standout fabric on wrap, or make a plain version.

Peace Bag. Small pieced fabric over shoulder bag. Handy size for purse, keys, phone…and go!

Boxy Top or Dress (with or without ruffles) Comfy easy to wear garment in various fabrics for wear year round.

Stitched Compass. Use paint and thread to create a unique artwork.

Lined Vest. A handy unique garment to wear year round. Upcycle a tablecloth or make a plain version.

Venue for these workshops and classes is Arteyrea in Port Lincoln (corner Mortlock Terrace and Blackman Place)

But also coming in 2025, will be workshops in my new home studio.

Saturday afternoon dressmaing class 1-4pm on same dates as workshops. Bring along fabric, pattern etc and get expert assistance to create your own clothing. Or just bring along your hemming, repairs, alterations to finally get done!!

IF GETTING CREATIVE WITH ME IS SOMETHING YOU’RE INTERESTED IN, PLEASE GET IN TOUCH.

Let me know what type of workshop you’d like to do, what time/day would suit, length of workshop etc? Maybe get a small group of friends together and we can tailor an experience?

I’m trying to gauge what people want and what will work. Thanks…Sue x
