Chirky Dress - Lime floral/check - Small
One of a kind generous sized and comfortable dress.
Named 'Chirky', from the late 19th century meaning 'cheerful'. But I reckon it sounds like a cross between quirky and cheerful!!
Adjustable drawstring waist, gathered skirt, self made binding on round neckline and short sleeves, and of course has pockets!!
Can see it being worn year round, layered and dressed up n down.
Made from designer floral cottons in lime and mustard teamed with a lovely soft linen check in chartreuse and white.
Actual garment measures 126cm at bust/waist (please check your own measurements) and 104cm down centre back length from base of neck.
Please note my model ‘Esmeralda’ is small in size.
Fabrics from my personal textile collection, pieces from near and far, past and present...including remnants, roll ends, a couple of metres here n there, etc. Making each garment a one of a kind piece, never to be repeated.
